Unlucky Chef Scenario (completed)

Sooo giving the unlucky chef scenario a go since we had so much fun with the no skills and plant a sim one :)

My sim I will be using is fresh out of cas (no skills) and her name is Kiana.

Kiana lives in San Sequoia on the Parkside place lot (I did remove the quakes challenge)

I am going to start this soon, just need to make dinner for my real family (hopefully I won't burn down the house like my sim might LOL) I think the first thing I will do is see if I can afford a smoke detector and sprinkler system, but will update soon once I play a bit ;)

    Kevin and Mayumi were married at the Festival of Light.

    They had forgotten to bring their tiramisu wedding cake with them, so they enjoyed it afterward, in private.

    Next morning there was another cake to make, since it was Kevin's birthday!

    Mayumi wanted to do this for Kevin. She had just re-enrolled in university and was taking a baking class. She was eager to treat her husband to an example of the goodies they were making in class.

    I gave Kevin the Gym Rat reward trait upon aging up, because of all the time he's spent with the soccer ball and going to the gym.
    I usually give sims a clothes and hair makeover at the adult birthday, but I didn't, because I feel like Kevin should look like a man-child for at least a little bit longer :)

    As they enjoyed the cake, Kevin noticed that his already curvy bride was looking a little bit more curvy in some telltale places.

    He was trying to figure out how, or if, to comment on this, because he wasn't totally sure it wasn't just the baking class, but Mayumi shared her news with him

    (Oh yes, Mayumi did change her last name, but no nickname for her, thanks very much :D it's just Mayumi Nomnom.)


    Mayumi and Kevin enjoyed the quiet of Kevin's few days off. Kevin was taking a break from his sushi and tiramisu stand for now.

    This was autonomous on her part. I sent her back to work on the presentation. Then five minutes later she wandered out of the room. I'm starting to get an idea of why she isn't doing so well in school.

    She did stay focused on writing her paper. She has a lot of skill in writing and enjoys it. You can do it Mayumi!

    @mightysprite thanks for explaining their personalities a bit better to me, I will be a little more lenient on my thoughts of Mayumi now ;) What a beautiful marriage <3 Aww how nice of Mayumi to bake Kevin's birthday cake. Kevin suits his manchild look for now :) Awww Congrats Kevin and Mayumi on your little nomnom that is on the way <3 Oh my gosh love the nursery paintings and the nursery. Which genre painting is it that made those lovely paintings? Lovely update, enjoyed every second of it :)

    @mightysprite I am enjoying your story! Your couple's story is very romantic and I enjoy the fact that they are different personalities but still click well together! Looking forward to meeting the newest addition to their family!

    Mayumi and Kevin's new neighbor Don invited Mayumi out to go to the Romance Festival. To paint paintings. While Kevin was at work. Mayumi was eager to talk art with a higher-up in the art world.
    She decided to bring Julie along.
    They hadn't left her with daycare or a nanny yet and Mayumi felt it was too soon for that.
    And some small subconscious feelings that Mayumi didn't completely understand nudged at her and suggested that somehow having the baby along would be a better choice for this outing.

    Don did not seem one hundred percent thrilled.

    But he was willing to hold Julie for a little bit while Mayumi tried her hand at a painting.

    Mayumi had trouble getting started, in a public place, with so many new people around making her tense. And Julie was getting cranky. Mayumi suggested Don go enjoy the festival while she settled Julie.
    Don stomped off in the direction of Eliza Pancakes, who wasn't wearing any pants.

    It was a beautiful atmosphere, so Mayumi thought of ideas for paintings to try at home, when no one was watching.

    Hi there @mightysprite, sorry for my absence, had some real life struggles going on. I will comment on your posts as you posted ;) Oh my gosh that is one big pregnant tum tum. Any pregnant lady needs her ice cream, you can't go without that LOL. Awww Welcome Julie Nomnom <3 Julie is the cutest little infant every, awww just wanna pick her up and snuggle her. Taking turns watching little Julie is so cute, although poor Mayumi got the grunt of it. Congratulations on levelling up to a level 9 chef Kevin :)

    Good move Mayumi, Don is a player, little Julie should put him off his game ;) Eliza where on earth are your pants :D Yay congratulations on completing the scenario, your family are beautiful and was super interesting to follow <3 Thanks so much for joining in, we loved reading about Kevin, Mayumi and now little Julie <3
