@agustd Ah, ok, I think I know what you mean then and although I'd love more grandparents like behaviour in my game, I agree that shouldn't be all concerning elders. But maybe that is what people mean? That they miss ways to make them look older where in the predecessors you could have both?
@Scobre What's ADA objects..? ^.^ (in the game they're less crooked than in CAS by the way, just when they're walking, but maybe that's what you mean)
Oh it means Americans with Disabilities Act. So ADA accessible is like curved walkways, doorways being wide enough for wheelchairs, and elevators in buildings for example. Sims has never been inclusive towards it yet and I was hoping after the gender patch, that Maxis could be more inclusive to other areas in society as well. Yeah I meant while walking, so it is an area in which I like elders more in the Sims 4. I still think it is stereotypical to have them tire out from exercising or doing woohoo and hoping for a potion to give Sims energy so avoid tiring out. I like that adding more wrinkles is an option and it would be nice to have more facial features in general whether it is liver spots, moles, birthmarks, all over body freckles, or skin pigment discoloration.
Another unpopular opinion is I dislike modern and suburb focused style. I like grunge, punk, rock, and more worn out styles.
I also prefer Sims 3 CAS over the Sims 4 because it was easier to make rocker Sims with the hair highlighting, ombre, and root options and something that made SimGuruKimmi laugh is I don't like the low polygon eyelashes that the Sims 2 and 4 has. I love luscious eyelashes that the Sims 3 and being able to pick the length of them. I also don't like super skinny Sims which I know is popular by a lot of Simmers. I prefer my Sims to be more curvy and less hollywood looking. Probably why I like to dehollywoodize Don and Nina and Dina the most. Some of the premades make me cringe how skinny and unrealistic they look. Goths are probably one of the few exceptions to keeping true to their Sims identity even though they had their graveyard culled with the Sims 4.
I love killing Sims too and setting fires, so being a deviant is pretty unpopular in itself too and why I tend to be drawn to Simmer videos that don't play in perfect settings the most which is rare to find now of days. I love when the game surprises me with problem solving adventures when things don't go as planned. I also love mods and CCs which I find is pretty unpopular too and find that the Sims 4 is one of the most mod friendly games. I also like finding bugs in my Sims games and helping the Gurus get them fixed this time around. I find unpopular opinions more interesting to read too that go against whatever is the social norm (whatever is considered positive) that day when people talk about their Sims games. It is beautiful to see the ideas for the Sims that spring up from them. Like ok here is a potential issue the Sims is having that day, how are we going to make it better? It is that problem solving that is the heart and soul of the Sims franchise. Like how Will Wright made the Sims after experiencing a fire in real life. Shows that the struggle through the bad makes these beautiful things. It is a total Cinderella story which I hope remains with the Sims. Why I love playing rags to riches so much too.
