I initially posted this in the wrong thread, but meant to post it in this one.
Depending on where the player lives in real world, as well as how their gamesave is set up, any world can be a place for vacation visits of course; but one way to understand the question is to think about what each world offers as default, which I thought was an interesting perspective.
Some has already been mentioned, like the narrative in Strangerville; the get-together social activities on the beach in Sulani, the festivals in San Myshuno.
Here are some others :
Brindleton Bay has got a large open world, perfekt for taking long walks, perhaps the new hiking feature in Snowy Escape will be useful, like go together.
Windenburg has got, albeit random, invites to The Bluffs, The Ancient Ruins and the Chalet Gardens. Those lots can also be visited directly, and supposedly there are people to meet in the mansion.
Britechester has got students gathering with activities, perhaps possible to visit with a teen thinking what university to pick. The Secret Society might be interesting to look at, maybe they are showing up at the ruins.
Del Sol Valley with the PBP lot with its rewards celebration could be fun to go to without being invited, to gauk at the celebrities, if possible.
Evergreen Harbour is the only world with trash world items. A film producer or photographer could have a field day.
Glimmerbrook with its portal to a magic world would be a perfect place for lets say four young siblings to be sent to during the summer.
I don’t have Vampires, for the vampires; but if they introduce a proper toggle for the spawning of new ones, I'll build a quaint little guest house for a clueless accountant visiting for a short while..
Edit: I thought of two more:
Willow Creek for the secret suggestive world of Sylvan Glade; and Oasis Springs for the equivalent there, the Forgotten Grotto. Willow Creek also has pretty trams to look at and Oasis Springs what would seem like a lot of dig sites, for the collector.
