Vampire Sim Won't Leave! (Solved)

Solution: Set Lot Trait to Private Dwelling.

My vampire sim got into a relationship with another vampire, Caleb Vatore. They had a child and he still lives with his sister. He keeps coming around and staying, like, forever. There is no option to ask him to leave but even if there were, he keeps coming back! At first I thought it was the vampire ability Eterally Welcome but since removing it, he still comes straight in without being invited. He uses everything in the house like he lives there.

I don't know what to do.
Other than killing him off, is there any way to stop this? :(

Oh and for all of you who will probably suggest resetting him, it only resets him, doesn't change his location.

  • Is the child a toddler? Parents are basically programmed to hone in on toddlers even if they don't live in your household.

Try taking him to another lot and leaving him there. It'll get rid of him for a time, but he might come back later. I advise locking your doors to keep him out of the house if desired.

I already tried locking the doors and it did seem to work for a time, now he is back again, in the house!

That's odd. I wonder if he has the bat power unlocked? I can't remember off the top of my head if he does or not. If that's the case, it's possible he just 'teleported' himself in.

How long until the toddler ages up? He'll go away once the kid is a child.

He did, and he had the mist one. (I made him move in for a bit so I could give him some stuff, boy was that a mistake.) I've since removed both of those and locked the doors and he hasn't come back... so far. And I play with aging off so the kid will stay that way till I have him max all his toddler skills, which isn't far off.

He doesn't live with my sim, which is the problem. Do you mean make him hibernate at his home? o.O
  • Well, it didn't work. Locking him out and removing his ability to "teleport" didn't stop him coming over and standing around in their backyard :s

Yeah, it only keeps them out of the house, unfortunately. Do you use MCCC by any chance? There's an option to force a sim to leave if you look through the menus (through the sim, not via the computer). It's the only way I know how to get rid of annoying sims without using the traveling method or killing them off.

EDIT: I didn't notice the title change aha. Glad that you figured it out!
