Water fun (holiday tradition) in or near Evergreen Harbour?

Question

For all that the forum is gearing up to celebrate Simsmas; it's high summer in my game at the moment.    My current household live in the Stonestreet Apartments of a run down Evergreen Harbour.   They desperately need some suggestions where to go to fulfil the Water Fun holiday tradition, please.   B)      Oh and if there happens to be a grill available, even better.

Are you allowed to edit lots? If so, the quarry in Grim's Quarry neighborhood would make for a great location for a public pool. Decorate it with rocks to match the surrounding community space.

Okay, are we talking "Rockridge Springs"? because I think that is where you are referring to and I will check the Gallery for some pools which have already been done.

My game is not in english, but I looked it up and the lot I meant is called The Quarry Building (by default one of those community lots that's type we can change by voting). It has a large open space next to it where sims can place bath towels, stereos, juice kegs and whatever else they want from their inventories or play with their dogs.
