Way too much phone action now during chatting

For me, the phone is ok but the constant obsession with it is an annoyance because my sims stop doing what I told them to do and start messing with the phone instead. They do it way too often, so, yes, I'm in camp Dial It Down Please. The drinking problem seems to have ramped up a little too, I would mind that one being knocked back into submission.

I can def see the phone being immersion breaking for an off grid or historical game. It would be cool if you could turn off the phone but if it's built into the UI that would be a problem.
