we need for selfie options

i also find it frustrating that my sims cant take photos with/of their toddlers, and im pretty sure children until they become teens. thats super unrealistic. my social media is flooded with selfies and solo photos of parents and their kids as infants, toddlers and children.

hopefully with get famous well get more poses and options!

photos also always look terrible and pixelated. I'd love to go around taking more photos but since I want reasonable quality photos I end up having to spend a lot more effort making cc photos from screenshots. I shouldn't have to do that.

I am not the camera, selfie kind of person - so my sims almost never takes picture with the purchasable camera or selfies with their phones unless the do it on their own or unless a whim comes up to do it in JA - so I have just never bothered much with ingame picture taking. I do take screen shots using the C button and that is about it - but I have seen ingame pictures on Sims walls while looking at other peoples screenshots and many do have pics of their sims kids - so obviously they are taking pictures in some way ingame - perhaps the photography studio from Get to Work or with one of the cameras we can buy the sims to use in game - but somehow people are taking pictures and turning them into wall hangings.

Perhaps you just haven't found the camera they are using ingame yet - but it is obviously not their telephone.

One thing that does annoy me in this game regarding pictures though as it does not offer actual family portraits like ALL the past Sims games have done. I understand even with the photography studio you can only take portraits of either 2 adult sims or 2 kids sims but you cannot apparently take a picture of the parents with their kids from what I have seen simmers complain about. What kind of Portrait shop could not take a family portrait - I have to ask - otherwise it is not a family portrait to start with.

I don’t feel the need for more selfie options but I respect you do. You can take a child’s portrait from the phone or the camera. With toddlers since they are not on the list under “Take photo of” you have to stand your sim near them but the shot probably won’t be great.

the shot is never great. for my sim to get a photo of her teen and toddler i had to have the teen hold the toddler then try to quickly take a photo of the teen and hope it was a good shot. to me thats ridiculous when i should have the option to take photos of both.

ive used the high end digital camera and mobile phone one too! i just loaded my game and in two seperate files with childen was unable to take photos of or with children. i even put the digital camera into the childs inventory and she was unable to take photos of or with other people. she can take photos tho but that defeats the purpose for me

the photography studio is an item ive never used but it sounds like i will have to as it could be the only way to get 'family' photos

We should have the option for a selfie, or a studio pic, with up to 8 sims, since that is how many we can have in a single household.

It's just rude that we can't!


We should also have options for serious pics, cheerful pics, funny pics, silly pics, rude pics, etc.

Yes, from the S3 photobooth.. can you imagine how beautiful that would look in 4? It's heartbreaking to think what could have been if they just started over with a new engine.

Maybe we'll get the photo booth back in 2019 with the University EP? It was included in that one in TS2.
