We still don't have any form of vehicular transportation!

In The Sims 4 we have a closed world. To get to a lot, you have to wait for a loading screen. This isn't any different from previous iterations, except The Sims 3 with its open world. I was bummed out...

I think so too, especially since Grant Rodiek in September 2013 said in an interview:

Sims will definitely be able to own and have cars! As far as how they will function, I cannot comment on that yet. I do know that opening doors, like in The Sims 2, would require a lot from our animations team, so this may or may not happen.
