We still don't have any form of vehicular transportation!

In The Sims 4 we have a closed world. To get to a lot, you have to wait for a loading screen. This isn't any different from previous iterations, except The Sims 3 with its open world. I was bummed out...

I wonder if anyone noticed. You can take the boat in blindenton bay and it will teleport you to the light house island. It has no animation just like the apartment lift !!! I dread how cars would be implemented. Just a static car which teleports you without any animation ?
