Ahhw, I decided to place a weather machine at the Onsen's bathhouse to try to change the weather. (my sim has to ski or snowboard during 'inclement weather' for their aspiration goal)
Unfortunately it doesn't work.
I'm honestly surprised EA did think about disabling it. Honestly I want to give them some credits here for actually thinking things through.
Heddelviven this part of the aspiration always takes me forever. I usually end up giving them moodlet solvers and making them ski at crazy times of day to catch a heavy blizzard. They are often during the middle of the night for me so it's PJs off, ski suit on at 3am!
It's helpful to know the weather machine doesn't work, I've just added a log cabin to the Mt Komerebi summit now we can travel there by portal (with Enchanted by Nature). I was thinking about placing one there to calm the blizzards but sounds like I'd be wasting my time.
simsplayer818 I found an easy solution. After using testingcheatsenabled true, you can shift+click on the ground 'enable icy conditions'. When you go skiing/snowboarding after that without falling, the aspiration completes.
