That sounds a very biased and not respectful at all. Arranged marriages ≠ forced marriage and there are many sucessful arranged marriages. Its just a cultural difference. It would be an optional feature anyways so its nothing for you to be upset about.
I don't care if it doesn't sound respectful, because I don't respect it.
