Wedding venue lots.

I realise that this thread is kind of old but just in case anyone does come here with the same problem...

It appears that wedding venues are not limited by lot type but are limited to specific lots. So you can build your own wedding venue but you need to build it (or download it from the gallery and place it) one a specific lot.

As of Eco Living, wedding venues are limited to the following specific lots:

- Residential lots of bride/groom and invite guests
- Museums
 Municipal Muses
 Plumbob Pictures Museum
 Deadgrass Discoveries
 The Futures Past
- Parks
 Magnolia Blossom
 Hare Square
 Pupperstone Park
 Desert Bloom
- Bars
 The Caboose
 The Sand Bar
 Elixirs and Brews
 The Shrieking Llama
 Old Quarter Inn
 Salty Paws Saloon
 Pepper’s Pub
 8 Bells
 Rattlesnake Juice
- Nightclubs
 The Blue Velvet
 Discotheque Pan Europa
 The Narwhal Arms
- Lounges
 Stargazer Lounge
 Studio PBP
 Orchid A Go Go

I had built a church and couldn't get it to work but when I placed it over the Municipal Muses lot it suddenly worked. And it was set as a Generic lot. Why did EA choose to configure the game this way? Who knows. But it does mean it is possible to create your own custom wedding venues or download venues created by others from the Gallery and have them actually work.
