I love the of Slice of Life mod. I like it for the appearances such as blushing or embarrassment and even the spots don't bother me much, they are a part of life after all and you can turn them off for any sims you don't want them on. I also love that it allows my sims to be able to get drunk, I can't understand why this isn't just part of the game. People often get drunk at bars in real life. They don't drink soft drinks.
Some things I've removed cause I don't want them in my game like the random hook ups, self woohoo and serious diseases that can cause infertility. Others I have removed for now because I feel they need improvement but I would like to keep them in game if they ever do become improved on such as the menstrual cycle and personalities.
I think the Slice of Life mod adds a lot to the game and I don't know if I would enjoy the game as much without it now.
