Werewolf Fate/Love System?

The code for fated mate is set to give you a 50% chance EVERY time you run a flirt interaction with a werewolf. Lumpinou has a mod that changes it to once per SIM and reduces the chance to 15%. Edit: that tense moodlet is pretty brutal, +3, oof. I wonder if when they said we can ignore the fated mate thing, what they really meant was "just bury the tense moodlet with a bunch of other happy moodlets that the game throws at you."

I think the description says to “fight against the fate”. So it fits, fight this tense moodlet with nice pics and other happy buffs, lol. I experienced this twice, both times it was the sim I wanted because I don’t let my sims flirt with people I don’t like. But if someone wants more dynamic to this and less control, that’s definitely not going to make them happy.
But what I really like is the fact that finally sims are punished with some uncomfortable feelings, if they are trying to be unfaithful.

I get that, the consequences of being unfaithful because I've had enough serial romantics that never actually felt too bad but in this case my female weresim was deeply in love with a human soulmate and had his son. Now she's fated to a weresim who's not even interested in her. At all. And she's not about him. At all. He's trying to become human. So this whole situation is messy and due to how I choose partners for my sims, it's lengthy, it's more complicated than the moon deciding on an autonomous flirt. I'll likely have to just reset one of them back to square one. I just don't like this system lol I don't

After some time playing with this pack I must say that from optimistic I became indifferent to this. I started mixing occults as couples so I don’t have this pop up. In my game it’s always the first person (werewolf) they flirt with, always. Every single time. I wish they should at least spent some quality time together before it hit them that they are fated. At this point it feels fake.
