Werewolf Form: dressed or nah

I can't figure out if I like them dressed or not. I seem to have an easier time dressing the male sims in wolf form but my females I struggle with.

Do you only do certain outfits? I can't seem to put a bathing suit on my female sims in wolf form

I'm also a little lazy about occult form outfits to begin with but I don't like to lock the werewolf form as it changes the look of Sim in human form. So I'm just letting them go "nude" with the exception of everyday, hot and cold weather at this point

  • I keep my werewolves in clothes, they look weird to me without clothing because of the humanoid body shape. If they had been designed with a more wolf like body I think I might have ditched the clothing.
  • Because they used the male mesh for dresses and tops on female werewolves, I have to keep them nude, or at least topless, in werewolf form to at least preserve their chest fluff to give their top half some roundness in profile...because, otherwise, they just look like crossdressing men without a padded bra from the side.

The guys actually look good dressed, though, and I've taken to gravitating toward the ripped pants and open/torn tops (if I think a top should stay on) for them. I have their sleepwear just be nude, though, as an in-joke referencing one of my OC's... :D

@Atreya33 This werewolf is the Maxis sim from the trailer, Lux Demarco. I didn't do much to her body shape, but I think I widened her werewolf hips just a little. The body shape for her werewolf was already one of the slender forms too.

EDIT: I had the same issues that you did with dressing my female werewolf. Besides the ones I shared above, I thought these two sweaters also looked decent. I don't remember which pack they came from.

Those two sweaters look rather good on werewolves. The first one is from eco lifestyle, the second one from cats and dogs.

I noticed it can also helps if I adjust the hight of the chest, on top of choosing one of the more slender frames. If I drag up the chest, more female clothes look OK.

@Atreya33 Thanks for the info! ?
  • I do have to say that even though I keep my werewolves dressed it's minimal clothing and mostly the ripped items that came with the pack. I'm a bit torn with how to deal with them cause generally I think they look weird completely naked but also I think they look weird in regular clothing as well. I'm actually hoping that I will be able to find more ripped items from custom content.
  • Only naked. I like how they look similar to animals but still run around and act like human Sims. I think the only dressed wolf that doesn’t bother me is Kristopher.
  • I prefer them without clothes. It looks odd to me with clothes on.
  • Absolutely no clothes. Whenever my wolves are in clothes I try to get them undressed immediately.
