Well, the discussion threads are just that, and they’re usually a mix of speculation, information and opinions on speculation and information. If they’re skewing positive, it’s just because people are excited. There are plenty of critical comments there, as well. We’ve always had both positive and negative review threads once the packs come out.
We haven't always had the positive and negative thread. If memory serves correctly this trend started with journey to batuu because that pack got so much backlash that it was hard to find a place for those who like it.
I always find these positive and negative threads difficult because everything is so black or white if you split things up like that. No middle ground for people who want a nuanced opinion.
I really like the werewolves pack, I even preordered it, but that doesn't mean I like 100% of all the design choices. Unfortunately neither the positive or the negative thread allows to state that you like some things about a pack and some other things not. Being allowed to only voice a half opinion doesn't make it possible to give a full opinion. I hope the discussion thread can continue as it has done up to now, while the simmers who like everything for 100% can post in here.
