I normally left it on normal but for a while I turned aging off. I wanted to have the time to befriend everyone. But I have noticed that the longer NPC sims are around, the buggier they seem to get.
@dfstone Ooh. How buggy do they get?
I notice little things start happening a lot more frequently the longer they are around. Things like getting stuck in one place, lagging, repeating actions, stuff like that. I got a point where I maxed out almost every skill and got to best friend with just about every resident townie, and then the really odd stuff started happening. their clothes started changing randomly, they stopped randomly appearing at venues as the game generated new NPCs, the old ones although still alive and in there houses stopped appearing anywhere else. And it kept going until one of them overheated to death at the gym, ( forgot to turn the a/c on during a heat wave) and then things started going back to normal. I don't think this game likes it when NPCs don't ever die.
