- GrumpyGlowfishSeasoned NewcomerI agree with pretty much everything that has already been said in this thread, and have a lot more to add, but I'll try to narrow it down to the most trivial points.
CAS:
- Vampires and spellcasters constantly fidgeting around while I'm trying to edit their bodies.
- Why is Unflirty in the emotional traits category? It doesn’t cause or prevent any particular emotions (yes, unflirty sims can actually become flirty), but brings about certain reactions to certain social behaviours and should therefore go in the same category as Outgoing and Loner.
- The bicoloured gloves that come with Seasons are extremely hard to match with the cold weather tops.
- Piercings are treated like jewellery rather than tattoos; if you want your sim to always wear them (as it makes sense, realistically), you have to manually put them on every single outfit. Also, some eyebrow piercings disappear when they’re worn with certain shades.
- The amount of effort (none) that was put into making this hairstyle from Cottage Living compatible with most hats:

(OMG, Rosalind, you have a hole in your head!!)
BB:
- The table and wall lights are too weak. You have to place like a dozen of them in a room of moderate size to get it decently lit.
- Lots that were edited with terrain tools stand out horribly on the map.
- The big curtains from Cats & Dogs have collision, meaning you can’t hang them close to any other objects without MOO. Why curtains of all things need collision is beyond me.
Gameplay:
- Completing the Freelance Botanist aspiration gives your sim a trait that makes them immune to fire – whatever that has to do with gardening is anyone’s guess.
- No descriptions telling you what a certain type of tea will do to a sim before consuming it. While you can tell by the name in some cases (Steamy Ginseng makes them flirty, like steamy showers), others are puns that only work in English (Run Oolong makes them want to run along, ha ha, but not in my language), and some seem completely random (why does Pitch Black make them focused?). Also, can we please get an option to make only one cup for the one sim who needs that particular emotion right now, instead of two more that are inevitably going to spoil?
- While fixing and upgrading household items, male sims keep shouting "Ha!" and "Ho!" enthusiastically, like they’re superheroes doing super-heroic things.
- Sims close their eyes too often and for too long. Good luck taking a group screenshot without at least one person having their eyes closed.
- The game shames you for giving newborn puppies or kittens up for adoption. If you weren't supposed to do that, then maybe the pets should have been designed to not take up one household member slot each when you can't even control them.
- One of the benefits of building the wellness skill is that sims will eventually learn to teleport. The problem is, the teleporting animation is so slow that, unless you’re headed for the other end of the map, you might actually save time by having your sim just walk instead. - > @simgirl1010 said:

This right here. I spend so much time in CAS making sure my sims are dressed nicely, just to have half the sims in my town look like they are insane. Island Living made this so much worse, I really hate the fact that so many townies will wear the crazy cas items from this pack no matter in which world you live. Anyone else noticed this? When I own a retail store and I get customers I feel like kicking out half of them because they show up looking all colorful and crazy or half naked thanks to Island Living - Why are porch stairs so darn hard to figure out? ?

Because they're too lazy to walk that far. Sigh.
There is a mod for this that still works: "Sit to eat and drink" by Lotharihoe.
I hate when my sim is having a great conversation with another sim and it's going really well and then my sim walks away right in the middle of the conversation. Why? Because he wants to look at a painting on the wall. The sim he was conversing with is still talking to the empty space where my sim used to be. Total immersion breaking. Why does the environment override everything else? - -I dont wanna talk to randos and I wanna be able to tell em to p* off right away, I dont want to know them, specially not on a date. Thats not social and friendly behavior injecting yourself into a conversation of two strangers like that (without even introducing yourself), it's just rude man, rude and annoying.
(but hey, another NPC for the list, Grim is gonna busy tonight)
-not being able to boo at celebrities...no I dont want an autograph, hug you or faint, I am not a fan, I dislike you LET ME BOOOOO!
-situational outfits...ugh..just ugh.
-sit down for dinner gosh darn it! You dont need to get up to hug members of your household, you see them EVERY DAY nor do you have to get up to pet the cat or dog right now, stay the f* seated, get some manners!
- stop texting me to tell me how "pretty cool" someone is, first of all: you are a grown up not a teenager, seconde: you dont even know that person, third: I dont care!
- 5 hours is not a short walk....what are you doing to that dog for so long??? - Oof, you guys have already mentioned a lot of mine.
- One that ties into the musical chairs: sims always having to hug or wave at each other (greetings) that take time away from whatever they're already doing (or makes them get up from the table/couch/chair and it takes forever and then they sit in a different spot).
- Sims not facing each other when they talk (or dance), and just talk over their shoulders...
- Randomly generated relationships!! I play rotationally and when I get back to a household sometimes they have like 3 new relationships and AT LEAST one is ALWAYS an enemy!! Why??? Sometimes relationships get culled too and it's just ? it's so frustrating!
- Celebrities have pretty much ruined going to public lots since everyone and their mother has to go and fawn over them. Wish they would at least sometimes spawn with a disguise on (especially if it's a regular non-celebrity lot).
- Can't leave a toddler at home even if another sim is still with them because no one takes care of their needs. I wish needs would stay locked on all sims that did not travel or at LEAST the toddlers...
- Why can't kids get bikes????
- Other sims coming into my sim's house and going straight for the fridge. I've put them behind locked doors now.
And yeah. The situational outfits.. The random townie generation.. The 12 hour dog walks (so I always go for a jog instead).. The calls from sims my sim has never met asking to go on a date (and both of them are already married) and the calls for making a new friend.. And I'm sure there's more but those are just off the top of my head... - NightwalkerArkSeasoned NewcomerThe biggest one is the random townie generating. This game seems to desperately spawn more and more of them, no matter if they're needed or not. All the active workplaces are filled. All the community lots have their workers. Why are you spawning more? It would be nice if we had a special menu where all community lots (pre-existing and those you create) were listed, and you had the option to create workers for whatever businesses that exists on said lots. But instead, random spawns because someone thought it was a good idea (it could be, if we could turn it on and off). Give us control, EA.
A small gripe of mine, which I hope a car would deal with: Whenever I send my Sims out via the phone, I get stuck on the screen and cannot do anything as my Sims runs around and causes mayhem while the game loads, and loads and loads and finally reaches the travelling screen. I don't understand why the chosen Sims in question wouldn't just leave the house and disappear. A minor, but annoying thing.
Sims who just won't leave my romantic couple alone on their date. Going to a bar or a nightclub is basically me asking for people to come bothering me. Next time I send Sims on a date, I will have it take place at the library. Not as many visitors. - ValiantRedKnightNew SpectatorSome of mine:
Sims who react angrily when they “discover” that one of my completely undisguised aliens is in fact an alien. “Supernatural Skeptic” isn’t even a trait, stop being rude to my aliens!
Why can’t we properly discover mersims though. It’s such a weird oversight since aliens can be discovered/known, and vampires and spellcasters apparently introduce themselves like “Hi, I’m Caleb Vatore and I’m a master vampire!” or whatever.
Who decided that mersims needed to get 2x the extra days that long lived sims get, and why?? My lifespan is set to 139 days, so they get 87.5 bonus days as elders! According to MCCC active sims get 17.5, long lived is 43.75, and mersim is 87.5 anyway. Like this’d make way more sense for spellcasters, but like as an optional perk, not as a default thing. Make that a virtuoso perk or something!
Edit: turns out the lesslonglivingactivesims mod actually includes mersims, and dramatically cuts down on all bonus days, which is great because if I wanted elders to live longer I’d make the stage longer or use potions.
https://deichschafblog.de/bienchen/sonstige-mods-misc-mods/ - Why can't I just bulldoze lots from the neighborhood screen? Why do I have to load the lot, click into a menu to click a button to bulldoze the house, and then again to bulldoze the paint? Why can I not do all that in one click!?
- SharoooniaNew SpectatorThe lack of a randomize aspiration button.
