I like playing the Big Sister/brother challenge. It's fun to start with a small house and working your way op to a bigger one. The Supersim challenge I like as well. It's a little hard when you start having a family, because you need to take care of the kids and meanwhile completing all skills and aspirations. Some players don't really care about having a sim family and I think it's easier to complete the challenge that way. Of course the most important rule is having fun, so you can play however you like.
I like that feeling of working your way up and making it too. I end up caving and my single sims get a family. I love all the challenges suggestions, they've given me some fun options to try out. - I've mentioned this in another forum before, but try a gardening challenge. See how many plants you can take care of.
- Here's some of the challenges I've enjoyed as a family player
Raising Seven Foster Kids
Abandoned Kids Challenge

My phone corrected premades to grenades
Yep, that’s one way to manage premises!
Uggh me two?
Let’s go with grenades could be used to clear pre made SIMs and pre made lots and then a person could start fresh!!!
It’s not called anything but to me the ultimate challenge in TS4 is to create a complete save file with all my own lots and SIMs.
My fav challenges are the random ones that pop up on the gallery. Some for building some for furnishing some for SIMs
Probably my all time fav gallery challenge was the 1x1 pool challenge last year.it was extremely well attended and every one was well done.

That would be a challenge for me, I go along fine for a bit and then, somehow, half of the garden dies off when I look away for just a second. lol I was totes traumatized by the death of my first cowplant and the boney skeleton it left in the front garden! Poor thing. - Lolzarella6 years agoRising Scout

@Catzilla, I just found a page about the Tiny Living Challenge by @Maddy-the-Poodle. You should really check it out!
Cool! Thanks for both links, I've been checking all of the links and recommended sim sites out! There are some fantastic simmers and creative ideas out there. - Lolzarella6 years agoRising Scout

I've got a game where I'm slowly building the whole world with my own sims and lots too, that has been fun and has shown me more of what I can do in the game. I'm going to have to go look at the micro pools and the million dollar 15x20 lot results, those have got to be awesome! - 100 baby challenge
- I like the challenges I have tried (of course I only try challenges I am interested in), but admit I like the crunchy parts of games and enjoy breaking them within their own rules (it is how I find my fun).
72/100 of 100 Baby challenge. I think it is fun, but do have to take breaks.
Ways I break it:
- Fame, Instant "Romantic Besties" makes it pretty easy to get each new 'Donor'.
- Clubs, "Rally the Troops" means maxed Bladder, Energy and Hunger for everyone above the age of toddler.
- Buying School Projects means gaining the grades is pretty fast (a grade level a day if also on a good schools lot trait).
Super Sim. Not up to date, but Careers take so long. Also let my spouse die (engineered their death and brought them back to the family as a ghost) so I didn't have to feed them youth potions as well.
Ways I break it:
- Fame, Being able to get the career boost is great
- Book of Life is great for needs (can be used in 100 baby, but more fun for me in Super Sim)
- Vampire was broken when I did it (could not gain points after Prime) but I think it would be fun for avoiding certain needs - oddly when you are a vampire, the need avoidance traits do not work (If you have forever fresh, but are a vampire, you can still get dirty).
In all, find one that appeals to you and give it a go, but modify as needed to boost your fun. It is a game after all.
