I've been playing the game alll day today after a lot of building i did beforehand but I've been having so much fun with the gameplay aspect of the pack as well as the items/new interactions! I created a new sim and made her live in one of the vacation homes, she's maxed out the Selvadorada culture part which was fun to do. I love the new dance moves :wink: and the music is incredible! Makes me wanna dance along with my own sim haha. I've explored two temples so far and also discovered other parts of the jungle. Long story short, it's been keeping me busy for hours on end and there's still so much I wanna do! What do you guys think of the pack? I'd love to know :smile:

I only had enough time to explore the surrounding areas where the cheapest house for stay is at and then my sims finally was able to run across that one bridge. They did some excavation and harvesting. Took a picture of a blue lizard by the docks. The scenery is absolutely beautiful.So far my favorite part of the pack is the beautiful jungle itself, and new things to harvests. Will explore more in a moment. :)

Hi. I don't know how to make my own discussion post. So i'm going to say it here.My (mother) Sim went on vacation with the family Dog, Leaving behind her twin girls, husband and the twins grandfather. As she was doing her adventuring in the temple she got poisoned. I couldn't figured out how to cure her so went on as normal. Suddenly she dies of poison. A grave stone is left in her place.Dog is left as active.I switch controls to the family lot and the dog is there. So I take one of the adult sims back to the location of the death to retrieve the grave stone, the grave is not there. Can someone explain to me why the grave stone is now missing?

I've only been able to send one trip there so far and there is still a lot that I haven't done yet. It'll probably be a while before I really feel like I've thoroughly explored the pack but that's not a bad thing. I wanted more to do in the game so the GP definitely added to that. It adds a risk element that I can opt sims into. I can keep sims at home that I don't want to risk or who have other things to do, but I'll definitely continue to incorporate Selvadorada into my game. I really try to play with anything that I get repeatedly and to keep my options open. I know that some of my sims will definitely be going back semi-regularly to SVD and I'll have a few trekkers and archaeologists among my younger sims. GF will still be used for those wanting a quieter or more placid camping trip. I will say that I kind of wish that they had included whitewater rafting in GF, based upon experiencing this pack.My rotation includes a few households who are half-Selvadoradan because I've had a family in my rotation for a while that had a back story of being Central American. That means that I have 6 kids-teens who are dual citizens of SVD and the main sim world, so I have a lot of plots revolving around those kids growing into their identities that will be coming up. Basically, each of them will interpret their identities in their own ways. One is more artistic, several really want to engage with the culture/archaeology/exploring, others might be more content to focus on their lives in the world that they've grown up in. They might have different ways of relating to the locals. I have various other households that I could see sending to the new vacation destination for various reasons and for different kinds of trips so I'm glad that it regenerates. I can think about the degree to which a sim should be risky or how I want to handle the events that happen. I think that different parenting styles will be a factor with this pack too. My households where parents are more protective and prone to worry are not going to let their teens and YAs venture off in a risky way.The setting has added a lot to my game, but I will admit that if I had one or several blank lots/residences in the world, I would use them. I could see several of my sims packing up to move to SVD in retirement or full time as a eager, energetic YA explorer. I think they are on the right track, lol, or trek with ideas like this.

This pack is the kind of unconventional "larger than life" that I wanted in the game, and I'm very happy with it :)

The new dancing is amazing!! Made me laugh quite a bit as well but I love it. It personally reminded me a lot of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. A specific area in that game is almost like an exact copy of the Selvadorada jungle! It's like my two favorite games combined :smile: I hope you have lots of fun exploring the pack some more! I'm very happy with it as well :smiley:

The jungle with all its gates is my favourite part in the pack. I did one temple so far and that was a bit underwhelming for me. Going to try another layout this afternoon.

Have fun exploring! I've been to two temples so far but I did like one better than the other. Especially love the treasures with the extra gameplay that comes with them :smile:
