What Are Your Plans For The Horse Ranch EP?

Do you already have a particular sim or family in mind? Will they be moving to Chestnut Ridge? Are you starting fresh with a brand new sim or sim family?

    1. My criminal sim will be a wild west baddie, maybe run a bar.

    2. My old hippie outdoorsy guy will ride horses

    3. My nature loving kid will bond with goats

    4. I will paint horses to look like either My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Mane 6, or Bojack Horseman, with Mr. Peanut Butter as a werewolf.

    5. I will make a werewolf ride a horse.

    6. There will be a pancake/flapjack themed restaurant.

I really like this list!! ?

I'm gonna move out my heir and have her move to chestnut ridge with no money rags to riches style
  • I'll start with building a proper 1.5 story home, and then have my writer Sim move there.

Another idea I just had: A family consisting entirely of animals in the beach neighbourhood of Brindleton Bay. I don't have anyone living there yet, so that would be a nice incentive to explore it. The two sims (maybe a married couple) are a werewolf and a mermaid, and they have a cat, a dog, a raccoon, maybe a few chickens, and a horse, of course. Too bad the water isn't swimmable, that would have been awesome for the mermaid. Oh well, a home pool it is then.

I had a sim live in that house and from her kitchen window you can see townies walk their pets there by the house and their pets poop there.
  • My plans revolve around what lots I may put in Chester. Depending on how many empty lot types we get I may place a large waterpark with a pool lot,an amusment park and possibly a vet lot.

I'm currently doing a decades challenge and the release will line up perfectly when I make it to the great depression of the 1930s. Americans moved west to California and other fruitful places for farm work. Prohibition will be over in time for nectar making, it's so serendipitous!

I'm not as far ahead of you as I just started, but I was thinking along the same lines, though I will see where the story takes me.
  • Awesome @lori171957 ! I never thought of using the roof like this, will definitely try this on a farm or ranch lot!

I've been building or fixing builds, I'll restarting because my computer had crashed on me. I've been out of town on vacation for the last week. and hadn't had the chance to start my sims up, I plan to try farming and ranch together. I also want to try other things in the new pack. I'm almost ready to make a sim to play. It's a good thing I have some of the families on my save files.
  • My main family consists of Bill (vampire/musician) and Janine (spellcaster/paranormal investigator/business owner). They live in Forgotten Hollow and they have 7 daughters. 4 daughters are vampires and 3 are spellcasters, I let the game decide what they would be upon birth. Anyway, the 6 oldest are pursuing more intellectual careers however the youngest daughter, Karol (spellcaster), decided to get back to basics. With her mother's blessing (Dad isn't so sure) she moved to Chestnut Ridge. She is now the proud owner of The Glimmerstone Ranch! Karol inherited her love of animals from her mother. She currently has 2 horses, 2 mini goats and 2 mini sheep and she loves them all and they love her. She hopes to get her mom and dad to come visit and show them what country living is like. Especially her mom, who is stressed about her business. Karol adores and idolizes her mom and wants to so much be the spellcaster she is but she also wants her mom to be happy. Not sure where this story will go but I'm having a good time with it.
