And I hear some people on here saying that they're still playing with the game crashing! Really, how ridiculous can they be. You'd prefer to keep playing a game that keeps crashing on you every five minutes?

Everyone's experiences will not be the same. I've had 3 crashes and one freeze. In about 6 hours of gameplay. So yeah, I'll keep playing. But I do sympathize with anyone who can only play for a few minutes. I know that's rough, because I remember having a similar issue with Sims 3. It's nerve-wracking.
Let's not forget, though, that there is a workaround that lets you play without crashing.
