When I think of healthy foods I think of things that aren't highly processed, that are lower sodium, and have little or no sugar. More natural, like salad, fresh vegetables and fruits, lean meat, usually fish. When I try to eat healthy I avoid prepackaged or boxed meals, they are such salt bombs and high in carbs. I don't eat out as often when I'm trying to eat healthy.
The problem is that I don't trust the game to think what I think is healthy as healthy. or the other way around.
Maybe it's because I am Swedish, but for me "fried fish" is as unhealthy as it gets: Breadcrumbs and fat with some fish in the middle. But apparently the game says it's healthy? Must be using a different recipe
I think the approach they opted for was common sense. It's not a problem if you have fried fish once in a while, the idea is to not have it every day. If you want your sim to get the healthy food nut lifestyle, just get them to eat a healthy meal every time and they will get the lifestyle. I had a sim who had cookies in her fridge and she always reached for cookies when she was hungry so she got the junk food lifestyle. If you think fried fish is not healthy don't let your sims cook it, have them cook something else, salads or grilled fish maybe.
