  • As Sindocat said, it'll be shown when choosing degrees. To my surprise, the Language & Literature degree isn't one of them (they showed this in the stream & it affects both the writer careers and the law one).
  • If it is like the real world, any degree could be the basis for a teaching career: real teachers study math or science or language or art or whatever before taking an additional teaching qualification like a B. Ed.
  • I don’t think they showed which but seeing as the degree pretty much said which career it’s good for in the bottom, I’ll just scroll down them all until I find the teaching career
  • I’m a teacher, and I wouks personally say that psychology is prbbaly the closest you’ll get to pure education studies. Not perfect, but closest.

If it was realistic, teachers would need to study at least two subjects though. One for learning how to teach and one for learning the subject they’ll be teaching
  • There will also be two different degrees for the teaching career, one of each individual branch. So possibly business might be the one for the Administrative branch.

ETA: from James Turner's video, Economics is the degree that one needs for the Administrative Branch of the teaching career.
  • I don't think they showed us. I was impressed that they have opened it up to different types of degrees, more like Sims 2 had, instead of just 5 like Sims 3.

    Makes sense.
