What Do I Do Now?

My Teens and YA have just began working on their Third Term homework, in preparation for classes to begin in three days. While they're working away an Adult comes into their dorm. She is very pregnant, and then she starts the whole moaning bit, as if she's gone into labor. This is odd. I have no clue if she's a student or a member of the faculty. I suppose she'll just disappear from the dorm, at some point. But I'm very surprised to see a pregnant Sim on campus.

  • Sims can go to Uni while taking care of family, but don't think children can actually live with them in the dorm, so I think she will move out of the dorm after the baby is born.

That's the problem, I don't believe she is a resident of Wyvern Hall. LOL I think she's one of Erik's fans, but she seems to be in labor! I do wish our Sims had the ability to call 9-1-1 for help in situations like this. Oh, dear …
  • Wow. How odd is that? I've never had an un-played pregnant Sim go into labor while visiting a community lot or venue. I wonder if this situation is tied into the Neighborhood Stories feature? Did your students panic or try to help her in any way?

I guess that she's a roommate's visitor (NPC roommates can have visitors too). She should go away when the labor ends.

Though that's only my guess. I never have had a NPC sim go into labor when they are not at home (doctor career excluded).

Me, either, but it might make an interesting update all the same, no? Never a dull moment at Wyvern Hall. LOL

No, which is also odd, when you think about it. The only student that is in any way qualified to help, is Joey who is studying biology so he can be a physician. She's just standing nearby moaning.

Mine have, almost. Clara Bjergsen, very late pregnant, got all the usual animations, at park in Oasis Springs. At the time I had only base+get together +dine out, so not about NS then. Björn was playing chess and had the future dad panic, but then Clara left the lot, next midnight I got a popup from MCCC that she had delivered a boy.
  • UPDATE: The pregnant Sim left the dorm, shortly after I posted the latest on this thread. Phew!

Perhaps you should track her down and start playing her, then.

Oh, no thank you. I'm trying to get this save ready for Infants. LOL Plus, I very rarely play premades.
