What do you do in The Sims that you really need to stop doing, but keep coming back to?

What type of stuff do you always end up doing in your saves, no matter how much you try to do something else? Things I do: -when I make a family, I always end up making really weird drama happen,...

I avoid playing what I consider difficult aspirations and careers. I have procrastinated at playing Jungle Adventure, Get Famous and Island Living. Why? Because I can't seem to be able to wrap my mind around what it takes to play them.
