What do you do when "stans" invade your home?

My vampire loves stand. Free food is a good thing. Stupid blood cows keep coming over to be dinner. No need to hunt when prey come to your lot willingly. Same for the paparazzi. They all are what is for dinner. Stalk a vampire and the vampire stalks back, it is the way of things.

I forgot to mention they do enter your house while possesed but they only drink water and stare blankly at objects, when they leave you wont see them again (unless you place them in a home trough household management)

I just have my Global Superstar give the Stan his autograph. That heretofore has 'cured' the problem, except for the fact a new Stan will spawn. LOL As far as keeping them out of the house and off of the property, itself, I build that tall fence provided in GF around the property and lock the gate. I also put the mailbox just outside so he can still get his mail.

He is still living with his parents, so he bought and paid for their protection:

Stans drive me nuts. Honestly. I put a fence up with a locked gate and they STILL Get in somehow..

Problem with that is, unless the celebrity gets rid of the Stan Quirk, another one will just be spawned.

I would advise you lock your Sims' door and keep it locked for everybody but the household. The information given about Stans when your Sim acquires that Quirk, suggests they might take things that belong to your celebrity, if allowed into the house. Just sayin'.

Well, like I said the RTF mod has a provision to 'take care of' fans who get a tad too close or out-of-control. I've yet to put it into action, so I really don't know what happens, should a fan fall through that hole in the ground … May just have to try it out to abate my curiosity. :open_mouth:

Ah, yes, but have you gotten that all-too-risky phone call telling you that it's getting around that you're treating others badly and that could affect your Public Image? My Sim has a Pristine Reputation. He only fights a Stan or Obsessed Fan when they threaten his family.

I think I would try to remove the quirk either using a potion or a cheat...

Make a dungeon in the sub basement level of the celebrity, place a Stan there, wall them off, and watch them die from starvation all while you have barracaded them in this well that is reminiscent of Buffalo Bill's place in Silence of The Lambs. >:)

If they are adored by the paparazzi, they can pose in front of the house that Stans are starving to death in. >:)
