Waaay back in the days of Sims 3, loading the game took a while. *pulls out elder cane* I'd leave my computer loading to do something else or pull out a book to read. Sims 4 doesn't take nearly that long, but there's still a loading screen. How do you entertain yourself during the initial start-up? If it takes a while to load between lots, what do you do then?

I don’t do anything because my loads are super fast which is very nice. During ts3 days I’d pull my hair out and when it finally loaded I’d quit out! I didn’t have the best pc back then though, just a mid range. I’ll play sims 3 on my new gaming rig and it takes probably 2 minutes to load. I play the find it game.

There's no time to do anything. Now that the loading screen is darker I can watch it. Sometimes I take a sip of tea or something. I am glad the game starts paused in case I do get up for some reason.

It depends which computer I'm on. If I'm playing on my newer one the loading screen only takes about 3 minutes, I'll my email on another device or quickly make a cup of tea or throw on the next load of laundry or something. When I play on my older computer, which I'm really do anymore but I have one save file on that one because it's the one I bring to work and play and once in a while when I'm at home I want to play on that file to haha, well that computer takes an average of 17 minutes to load, and has taken up to 45 minutes before, so then I do something a little more productive like cleaning the kitchen or get in a workout. I've even watched an entire show waiting on it haha.

Usually contemplating what I'm going to do once it loads.

I think my PC is more bloated than I thought... I actually have loading screens! I usually go do something else. Or maybe I just have the attention span of

I let it load while i scroll social media on my phone, usually.

It only takes a few seconds. Now, with TS2, I could get a batch of cookies out of the oven and put another batch in while waiting. With TS3 I could make dinner, do the laundry, maybe get some vacuuming done (I might be exaggerating here, but not much).

My loading time has slowed down now because of my ridiculous amount of cc. So now I let the dogs out or check my email on my iPad.
