What does convert 5 Sims into Full Grown Vampires mean

I was just wondering about the vampire family aspiration. Carl's Guide says that you have to train 3 offspring. As I saw in another discussion, the offspring probably means sims my vampire has turned ...

All it means is you have to turn five sims into vampires. You do this using one of the powers. I don't remember which power it is, but it is on a pretty low level. Then to train them all you have to do is click on them, then vampire, and then there is an option to train.
