What does convert 5 Sims into Full Grown Vampires mean

I was just wondering about the vampire family aspiration. Carl's Guide says that you have to train 3 offspring. As I saw in another discussion, the offspring probably means sims my vampire has turned ...

Yeah, the words 'fully grown' are a bit weird. I guess it just means... not teens basically.
