What EPs got you excited?

Forget about what let you down, what EPs got you so hyped you impatiently looked forward to release date??

Mine were for sure Snowy Escape, HS and Island Living. I really want to say Season and Dine Out, but they are too far back to remember. Those three definitely had me pre making households and houses and prepping my game for the EP.

Definitely looking forward to growing together with the same fervor!
  • I only started playing Sims 4 in 2021, some months before the release of Cottage Living, so a lot of packs were already out by then. But I got very excited by My Wedding Stories back then, and I eventually got disappointed by the reviews that I didn't buy it. I might as well buy it someday on sale.
  • I've had somewhat positive approach to all EPs, but usually stay a little bit reserved until release.

I think I was most excited about:
Seasons - who wouldn't get excited about seasons?
Get Together - this was my first EP and I was thrilled about it despite all the negativity it had at the time
Cottage Living - the overall aesthetics and the animals just got me
These are some of my favourite EPs still.

Vampires also excited me a lot, probably most of all packs.
And I'm pretty excited about Growing Together!
  • Discover University for me. Maybe unpopular opinion but it's my favourite expansion by far. I love the pack, for gameplay, cas, building, the world, it is a great all round pack. Also the first pack I ever bought on release.

Cottage Living is a second, a great all rounder too and the second (and last) pack I got on release.

Both packs had great hype, trailers and lived up to the high expectations it set.

-City Living- after seeing the trailer for city living I knew I had to get my hands on the Sims 4. Went out and got a desktop to be able to play the game. Still my favorite expansion pack.
-Seasons- this is just always a must need pack.I loved it in Sims 2, so I was really anticipating it.
-Island living- I want to tropical world so badly for vacations.
    - discovery university-I really wanted some way to differentiate my young adults from my adult sims. The social aspects of this pack left a lot to be desired.
    -cottage Living
    -My wedding stories

Island Living had me convinced I was about to live every mermaid fantasy I ever held. It was about to be H2o just add water Sims 4 style.

Get Together had me irrationally excited for clubs and the idea of making cliques or posses.

Cats and Dogs because I've never owned a pet and I want one. So at least my sims had one.

I can't think of anything else off the top of my head EP wise.

Oh well I suppose Get To Work. Though that's bc it was the first. So I was excited to see what an expansion pack was even like.

Seasons and Island Living. I read about Seasons on Carls site. Island Living on here long before I joined the forum this year
  • Eco Lifestyle, City Living, Island Living are the only two I genuinely got hyped about.
