Hi, I hope you can help me out! I already have Cats & Dogs, Seasons, Get to work, City living and I want to buy another EP.
Get Famous looks real fun to me, does anyone have any experience yet with it? I think I'm more attracted to Get Famous than to Get together. I don't know about the benefits of Get Together? Because I'm not a fully social player (for example, not a club person), is it worth it?.
Besides, I want to shop this sale one or two (or maybe three) Gamepacks, I loved how jungle adventures looks on youtube (does it include a form of adventure game playing? I thought so, that would be amazing!), I am a foodie and therefore Dine out looks like a lot of fun, Outside (camping or so?, sorry I am Dutch and I don't know the exact translation) and than the last one I am doubting about is Wellness. What do you recommend?
I would love to hear from you!
I don't have GF yet so I can't really comment on that. I'm still reading and deciding if it's worth paying for. I'm not interested in the claim to fame aspect, but the ability to allow some fame for careers already in game has caught my attention.
Get Together is actually a hidden gem! I don't care about the clubs themselves - I'm all for the benefits.
Are you a family player? GT is great for families. I always start a family "club". You don't even have to leave the lot. Just set 5 activities that your family would normally do (ex. showering, watching TV, reading, friendly social, etc), start a gathering and rack up the points!
I always get the Rally the Troops benefit first. It raises hunger, bladder and energy. This is especially beneficial to counteract the flaw of having a Sim leave the lot while the other Sims are sleeping to come back and everyone is up or if you work overtime and the other Sims have done nothing that needed to be done like homework or cooking a meal. "Rally" allows everyone to only need to shower, socialize and raise fun before work/school.
You can buy the perks that set the club vibe to help accomplish the child aspirations like "doing homework while focused" or "playing on a jungle gym while playful".
There are perks for each skill as well to help you gain them faster.
The way the pack was advertised really did a disservice to it. It doesn't cover the real potential.
