It would have given you a big shock when that happened to your sim! @djsboonie It was great that he was wearing the hematite ring! It is good to know that the charged effect does work and that it does save our sims from remaining dead.
It's the night before the first play test of the Therapy Game and they are all exhausted and tired.
But Vlad did Ji Ho wrong when he rejected him yesterday. He needs to ask for forgiveness.
Vlad also has some upsetting news for Saiwa and Jack...

@rosemow Thanks! It was so exciting when she won!
@djsboonie how scary!! Glad to hear hematite does what it's supposed to do.
@Ellupelluellu I got so tired of Juliette missing the chance to accept her award because the host was hogging the mike.

My sim Aurora decided to do some cloudgazing in clear blue sky. Since it's just day two I'm only mildly concerned about her about her judgement at the moment.

Mochi: "My big bro's getting a bath"
Pico: *Sigh* "You're older than me. Also this is my private bath time, Mochi"

It is great that your sim enjoys doing cloud gazing although it is a clear blue sky! @DaniRose2143 🙂 There may not be many clouds around but she would enjoy just having a rest.

Mochi and Pico are cute! @BlueSeaWaves 🙂

Lyra is wondering how high her Gemology Skill needs to be before she stops whacking herself in the eye with her hammer. At this point she's not sure she'll still be in one piece by the time her new store is ready to open! 🤕
- rosemow1 year agoHero
Lyra doesn’t look very happy! @simsplayer818 She would be in pain! I hope that she will soon gain the gemology higher levels so that she isn’t hurt anymore!
- DaniRose21431 year agoHero
@rosemow You have to admire a sim's determination to do whatever it is they set their minds to.
- simsplayer8181 year agoHero
@rosemow she's at level 7 now so I'm hoping once she's maxed the skill she'll stop injuring herself lol. If it's not the hammer it's the pliers! Her dog was hovering in the background looking very worried.

It is great that Lyra is at level 7 on the gemology skill @simsplayer818 🙂 Her dog would be wondering why she was getting hurt and feeling quite worried for her!

She won't unfortunately. My sim is level 10 gemology & he still hurts himself lol.
- simsplayer8181 year agoHero@djsboonie Yikers! She's got a whole store to stock... that's going to hurt. Thanks for letting me know. 😫

Just got the For Rent expansion in the black Friday sales ♥️♥️ I could of spent so much more but I know I'm getting a playstation store voucher for Christmas 🥰🥰
- rosemow1 year agoHero
It is great that you now own For Rent and was able to get it whilst it was on sale! @cbarber89 🙂 Happy renting!
I hope that her husband will enjoy being a dad to his alien baby @SheriGR 🙂 - cbarber891 year agoSeasoned Ace@rosemow Thank you as always 🥰 think my next pack will be get to work, seasons and parenthood (that one has a new dishwasher 🥰🥰) I also quite like the dine out half wall glass trim so that might be thrown in, hope they have a good new year sale 🤞🏻🤞🏻 .do you own all the packs @rosemow ?
- rosemow1 year agoHero
I do own all the packs, except for a couple of kits @cbarber89 🙂 Seasons would especially be a great pack to get. It adds many features to the game, through the changing weather and seasons.
- cbarber891 year agoSeasoned Ace@rosemow Very nice, I do like a deal on the packs but I also know that when a new one comes out it's very tempting to get it at full price, they do put a lot of work in to make them. I think I'll enjoy seasons when I get it, I like the thought of changing seasons, especially with a little greenhouse to protect my plants from the frost ❄️❄️.
With that many packs do you find you have a go to item you always use? I use the snowy escape shower in 9.5/10 builds I make 🤣 Ive always loved a walk in shower style 🙂 - SheriGR1 year agoHero
@rosemow Thanks for the encouragement! I was considering a while back that if this guy ever turned up pregnant (he's been a space ranger for years and abducted a lot in my game, but almost always in a full house, so this is the first time it happened). However, I just went through the rigorous raising of those supersims (4 at once) that I talked about too much, and just popped in the new generation 'supersim' infant I 'bred' from one of them to include Grim in the family tree (grimborn), and I'm toying with slowly raising her... so I'm not too sure I'm motivated to raise the alien infant alongside. These 'supersims' have alien blood, but are very much a regular sim, not alien (aside from having the handshake). So... we'll see... I may have it live in limbo with the supersims' alien ancestor and his 'Sulani spirit' wife in an unplayed household for now? I need to decide real soon! 😅 I've never raised an alien baby!

I always make sure that I have musical instruments and an easel in homes where my sims live @cbarber89 🙂

@cbarber89 enjoy For Rent! My Sims love the rice cooker that came with that pack! They start new meals in it even if there are leftovers in the refrigerator! 😅 I think you will love Seasons, though it does change gardening. But it also adds a lot of new plants as well! And the bee box for easy fertilizing, honey, and beeswax! You can make your own holidays as well, or change most of the ones that are already programmed to occur. For example, for my single Sims on Love Day, I forgo all the normal activities and change the holiday to only involve putting up decorations and watching Romance TV! Easy Aspiration points and my Sims that are single don't have to even be dating to have fun!
@rosemow I also usually add an easel and instruments to a house, but I also usually add a chess set as well!
@SheriGR That picture is hilarious! I have a copy of your SimSelf and your SimHubby in my game, so this made me chuckle! Raising an Alien child in the game is really no different from raising a regular child other than a different bassinet and that the babies have a slightly different cry. I raised a several of them in one household that started out with a Scientist that I named Ned who lived alone until Aliens abducted him and he had a little girl! Then I had him marry Eva Capriosa and they had their own girl at the same time that Ned got abducted and pregnant again, so that both parents were pregnant at the same time! 🤪🤣 Later they had a little boy and then 2 of Ned's clones from work joined the household, one being an Evil Clone! 😈😅🤣 That house was pure chaos! - LegacySims20171 year agoLegend
@SheriGR Sheri-sim hubby at least gets experience what Sheri-sim went through (or would go through) during a pregnancy. Probably has new respect now. 😃

Father cheering son on who's learning how to ride a bike. The look on Jason's face. Typical child. Has the "Really dad?" expression.

@LegacySims2017 Well, poor guy went through labor maybe close to 10 times while I tried experimenting to see if I could get a different result than green skin &/or alien eyes. Same result every time, unfortunately. I find the alien eyes to be creepy and the tone of green on green alien skin visually grating, so I feel that's unfair when raising it. At first I sent it home due to my 'prejudicial grating reactions' to those features. Then I rethought it. In the end I went back to the newborn part of the save, aged her to infant, and activated her disguise. So now I'm back to raising two infants side-by-side (alongside my new 'SuperSim' infant descendent of one of previous SuperSims with Grimborn also bred in). At least it's better than four at the same time like last time. 😁
Hopefully by the time they're teens the graduation bug will be fixed. You can always hope.
Technically this is one pic... a collage. 😁Give me a break, right? Look at his little face! Felt like when one of your kids brings home a stray. I'm like, 'oh, okaaaayyyy... you can keep your alien baby....' 🙄
Edit: I've not played an alien before (aside from making an adult one for a different family), and for some reason I didn't think you could edit their skin. But... tried opening this baby in cas.fulleditmode and I was able to change her skin to blue not green . Yay!

@LegacySims2017 So true!! Maybe he's also annoyed like me that I cannot choose the color of any sim's bike helmet. 😁
Oh, on your floaty lounger sim... In my game I've gone through several sim pregnancies on a couple of Sulani lots that included water access and one of those water loungers... every time my sims autonomously head to the lounger in the middle of being in labor to rest a bit!@PugLove888 Oh my goodness... the last thing I want after I die is to sit at the table with a giant rat across from me!! Sounds like a level of purgatory from Dante! 🤣
Thank you, @rosemow ...you are always so kind! 🌹
@BylineBelife Awww... your house is lovely and I'm so glad you managed to get it done despite your physical challenges! I hope you will have fun playing in it (apparently in shorter pieces of time), and that you will find the play to be a satisfying distraction. There's a lot to be said for that. 🤗
