What Happened In Your Game Today, The Quickies

Alright, we're back with another update! And today is a big one for Arhun!

Things were going great between Arhun and his former university teacher, Lana. He might not have finished university and quit somewhere in the middle, but his love for Lana was real. So, it was time to get romantic!

Lana looks seriously relieved on that last photo. That must have been one good woohoo session. She makes the weirdest faces. I already enjoy having her in my game.

Things got even more interesting when Arhun proposed. Despite the fact that Lana didn't want to go too fast, she didn't want Arhun to leave to Evergreen Harbor on his own. So, of course she said yes.

So, later that night, this young vampire was getting married! All his friends were invited to the marriage, but Apocalypsia and Amaryllis couldn't make it. They probably didn't come because it was too late at night for a witch and a mermaid. Then again, a few other witches came, so I don't know why they didn't come. They were probably preparing for their trip to Evergreen Harbor.

Also, for those who are interested... Do you see that sim with red hair who's talking to Lana? That's Arhun's sister, Rhune! She's in the criminal career, because she's kind of rude to everyone. But she's getting along well with Arhun's soon-to-be wife.

The group went over to the bar area in an abandoned cave in the woods of Glimmerbrook. Only, there was one problem... Lana seemed to have disappeared. Did she run off?! Did she decide not to marry Arhun in the end?

Luckily not! She just went home to get changed into a proper wedding dress! Even I was worried she wouldn't come back. She's a beautiful bride!

The wedding ceremony followed shortly after Lana returned and... well, it seemed that only Vladislaus and R-HUN really cared. The others were just there for the free drinks. Not even Rhune came to watch!

R-HUN also made his first real enemy at the wedding. But he seemed happy to be fighting Vladislaus, so I'm okay with it. He also won from the vampire, so that was quite an achievement. Now we officially know that robots are better than vampires.

The fight triggered some reactions from the audience. Arhun was like: "That's my robot, alright!" And Lana's facial reaction probably read something like: "Was it a good idea to become part of the same household as this robot?"

And so, meet the newest addition to the household. Lana McKinnon, now named Lana Shonwuh!

@amber_ilumire You can do it! You are already three generations in. I know it's hard to let go sometimes, but! If you get your age span just right you can feel accomplished with each generation. It's hard to feel like you didn't get to focus on lil' Susie's childhood, sometimes, but looking at that family tree is awesome!

I'm on generation 5 right now. They are toddlers and I'm pretty excited to be at that half way mark. The longest I've done is 16 generations in the sims 3... the Crown family. That was fun.

@illustratedhappiness That's usually been my modis operandi when playing too with new packs. Plus, I love playing challenges and usually open a new save file for each one. However, I've been playing the Drifter challenge since March now with the same family generation to generation and loving every minute of it! So far this house has been the most involved though. I think the reason for that is because there's so many Sims living under one roof! o.O It's been good for me too not being able to control them all. It's helped alleviate my micromanager tendencies a little. Although, I still get frustrated at times because I can't. :D Thanks for the encouragement, very much appreciated! :)

Britta has been abducted twice more now. Judging by the look on her face, I don't think she likes it anymore.

It took literally years for my first male abduction pregnancy. I was positively thrilled when it happened then. Not this time. Gah! Now there will be seven Sims in this house! Why couldn't they have taken Armando instead, why an elder? I'm still excited to see what the baby looks like though. Afterall, like I said, that's only two abduction pregnancies I've ever had in my game. Or is it...

They took Ian too, the same night Britta was abducted just minutes beforehand. Two in one night! :o Things are certainly getting interesting now. Why are the aliens picking on my elders? :D Thankfully, I don't think Ian is preggers too, it's been a couple days now since he was abducted and no glowing/talking belly to be seen. Adam though is ready to pop any time now. Poor guy, he's still clueless about what's going on. Look at Lila though, she knows what's up.

In other news, Nalani from Sulani now works at the lab with Britta and still no sign of Ted ever coming back. Britta got a promotion to Level 8 and Carina still carries an A in school. Didn't manage to go to the park yet. Hopefully soon. I remodeled the house again, and got the notice Ian will be passing away soon. I was wondering if I should build a nursery next to the elder twins bedroom, but I'll probably just modify their bedroom since he'll most likely be gone before the baby ages up to toddler. Makes me kinda sad Ian will never get to see his alien niece/nephew grow up. But then, neither will Adam, probably. :'( He might though, who knows. He's already lived much, much longer than I expected.

Played an old sort of forgotten save, in which Tempest Piper Rich had a daughter, Lola, with Gordon Beaulieu. She also had a daughter with Marcus Flex. This is Lola visiting Partihaus with her mom, having a great conversation on the couch, while her half-sister talks to her dad, Marcus, behind them:

Lola can do that because she doesn't attend a school, but studies and learns independently and with mentoring, without school in the picture.
Here she is enjoying studying in the wee hours. She's a loner and enjoys having focused time without interruptions in the late hours her family keeps, but also really digs knowing people from all walks of life and of all ages.

It was a fun, funky, lighthearted game session.

Ok first off, can someone tell me where the pictures in my computer for the Sims are located? I can never find them. And how do I upload them on to here?

Secondly, I think my Sim is going to fail or at least get lower grades on her second semester in university because I somehow lost the homework and her presentation board right before the last class so she was never able to present it. I'm not sure how that'll affect her grade? Anyone know? But on a good note, her boyfriend proposed! I did download a beautiful wedding place for Sulani (which is where they both live) but it's fall right now, so I may wait for them to get married later on. I can't decide if I want them to have kids or not.

That is not my Sim (luckily) but one of her roomates. Pleading did not work. It seemed to be the coffee machine...
My Sim in this save (Callie) has something about death. It's actually kinda awesome and unique. She started in the haunted apartment in the spice district, but didn't wake to see any ghosts (just sorta knew they were there).
Then she did see something earlier on campus. Now this.

What is a good job for a communications major that sees dead people, lol.

The Sims generated a really pretty sim to get married to my Brodie Patino and I took my liberties in giving her a make-over. Her storyline fit his perfectly as well. He's a criminal and she spawned with a degree in Villainy and the evil and hates children traits. Couldn't be happier!

I have been trying to fix my sim's overly complicated, soap-opera worthy family tree and it's killing me. It involves way too many siblings, cousins, married couples who share half-siblings ece. Every time I think I have finally gotten it right, some relationship gets messed up again. I am so close to just giving up on it - after all, it makes little to no difference to sims themselves, whether or not the title on relationship panel says aunt, sister or cousin, they treat everyone the same.
