What happened in your game today?

Here is my first update from my 2017 save. Please do keep an eye on this and let me know if it goes walkies. My last update from my 2016 save did...(twice!)

Starting off in 2017 we're continuing from the fallout of Jillian's affair with Clyde. Jillian was laid off from her job at the end of 2016 and her relationship with Jacob ended. Jillian left many phone calls to friends and family and Jillian's sister Serena turns up to comfort her during her hour of need. 

Jillian tells Serena everything that's happened. Serena supports her sister offers to stay and support her while she is here. 

Jillian also gave birth to twins! Tommy and Charlotte. Jacob named Tommy after his late half brother Tommy, my sim self's son. 

Serena want's to meet Clyde so Jillian invites him over. After meeting with Clyde, she thinks he is a nice person but doesn't approve over the circumstances. Jacob and Clyde's relationship is very important and they need to fix this asap. 

Back at the Sauce residence, Emma gets a call from the Police station. Emma learns that Kevin's father, Kevin Sauce Esquire has completed his two year jail sentence and is due for release at the end of the week. Lets flash back to 2014, Kevin Sauce Esquire would have rather had his son Kevin Jr in a highly paid job then own a gym so after Kevin bought the Willow Creek Gym, his father vandalised and trashed the place leading to his arrest.

The next day, Cherry's father has something to talk to her about. He is moving back in with his wife, Bev Sauce Esquire in Henford-on-Bagley and would like his daughter to join him. Cherry takes up the opportunity and decides to leave Newcrest with her father.

At the end of the week, Emma throws a party where Cherry says goodbye to her family in Newcrest:

After Cherry and Kevin Sauce Esquire leave, it's just Emma, Barbie Q and their children Basil and Soy sauce.

At the Mohr house, Nickolas has returned from spending the Winterfest holiday with his mother Sondra, Gerard is home to welcome Nicky back home:

Gerard asks how his trip with his mother Sondra went. Nicky says he had a blast with his mother and they really connected. We also learn that Gerard's mother Tegan, has now moved in with her partner, English actor David Bradley and she is now living with him in his apartment. Nicky says he's bought back a surprise for his father. Who is it? It's only Sondra! 

Nicky asks if Sondra can stay for a while, Gerard is more than happy to let her stay. Here is Sondra helping Gerard's daughter Mia try finger foods for the first time:

With Sondra's stay, getting longer and longer, Gerard takes Sondra out for dinner. He tries to find out why she is evading the question of when she will be going back home. 

At Harry's bar, Sondra explains that she was due to marry a highly successful business man however he called off the engagement when a better business opportunity came along and he only cared about the money. The lease on her home has expired in Willow Creek and the owner is not renewing so she is now homeless. Gerard feels for Sondra so he agrees to let her stay now his mother is out of the house.
