What happened in your game today?

So, the final days of the Munch family, I was eager to see what the love festival would look like with Lovestruck installed. I was eager to see all those couples who'd show up and sit on those benches to gaze at the nightsky for the rest of the night. 

Gunther has, as expected, found his darling in Maaike. So, together they went to the festival to enjoy themselves. However, it was quite... dreary - literally and figuratively. First of all, it rained - and lastly, there wasn't much happening at all.

So, let's take a look around us. Let's see if we can spot the couples... Well - it's sims, just being sims - standing around, doing very little.

There weren't many couples at all. Nancy and Geoffrey were the only ones invested in eachother - the others weren't doing much (other than throwing petals at random sims but not their partners?).

It was a bit of a disappointment. Now I do play with mods, generally speaking - and these bring in a lot more sims into public spaces, and also enhance the autonomy between them. These mods are not present right now.

So, sadly - it didn't meet my expectations. I didn't want to post it in the Lovestruck thread, as it deals with City Living mostly, I guess? I hope you had a better experience at the Love Festival and the Guru gave you some nice advice.
