Am feeling very sleepy from losing an hour of sleep from daylight saving, probably going to take a nap. For now an update:
Pico returned back home after laying in the sand. Immediately upon entering through the door he found Alexis giving Mochi affection.
“You’re so cute Mochi!”
Pico watched in disappointment. He cheered up as he heard Alexis finish her sentence.

Alexis got up after hearing Pico’s stomach grumble to prepare them food. Mochi was happy to see his big brother return, and hearing her mention food reminded him of something.
“Big bro, did you get the ball I got you? The one Dominic sent you.” https://i.imgur.com/ot3frXQ.png “You got me a ball?”
“Yeah! The one that looks like a drumstick, with a smiley face on it” https://i.imgur.com/tKKwyZO.png He recalled playing catch with Alexis just the other day with it. https://i.imgur.com/WzvIDd9.png “You got me that ball? I thought it was her Dad.”
“It was his idea to get you a gift while we were at the pet store, I chose the drum stick ball cause it looked funny” Mochi jumped side to side as he spoke. https://i.imgur.com/IkVFbio.png Pico quickly realized Mochi meant well after all.
“I love that toy, Alexis and I played catch for hours with it”
It put a smile on Mochi’s face to hear that. https://i.imgur.com/5jQ6Mkl.png They both headed towards the kitchen when they were smell the food was food ready. Only one of their plate was ready.
“Hope you don’t mind Mochi having the first plate, Pico. Yours in coming right up.”

After making sure both Pico and Mochi ate well, Alexis headed back to her room. She had something on her mind that she needed her attention. She logged onto her computer and messaged her longtime childhood friend, Donna. Alexis had an idea for a project, though she needed some guidance. Donna worked in the field and she was sure she’d help her or at least give her some pointers. https://i.imgur.com/94mzQzA.png Donna replied to her message quickly, it gave her hope. The two spent the next hour exchanging messages and catching up with each other. Their conversation took a turn when Alexis asked her for some help.
“Sorry Lex, not interested in investing.” Alexis read aloud.
“I’m not even asking for an investment. Just advice” https://i.imgur.com/q26YIKN.png “I’m really busy, maybe some other time”
“Okay…when will be a good time?”
After sending her message, she saw it immediately change from delivered to read. She waited for a couple of minutes and when Donna failed to reply, she slammed her fist on the desk.

She rose from the chair ready to get some rest. Pico walked in ready to sleep as well. Just as she reached her bed, her phone rang.
“Guess who it is Pico. The Love of my life” https://i.imgur.com/HU23e4D.png Hearing Catalinas voice brought her a smile. Pico sensed something was bothering her, but the call changed her mood.
Cat gave her a recap of her day. Earlier in the afternoon Colette stopping by to say good bye before leaving Chestnut Ridge with the family. Even asking about Alexis. 
Colette was happy for the both of them, when she confirmed to her they were trying a long distance relationship.

“They’re talking about me!” Pico thought to himself.
