Actually what's bothering me a little bit right now is how much Sims 4 turned into a build game.
Like, the worlds and the build system is so amazing, but there is just not enough gameplay.
Time ago we got terrain tools, which is like really cool but for the 5th anniversary I hoped they would finally give us something for much deeper gameplay. I don't care for updated babies but in my opinion this should be one of the things they should add at this time, because people are also asking for it a lot and we need finally something for more gameplay. But no, here you have again more options to build with....
I also remember one of the guru's tweeting that for Sims 4 we do get more sutff, because of more packs we getting. But in my opinion, it's 5 years later and Sims 2 or 3 has still more gameplay than Sims 4. How is that possible if they worked on Sims 2 and 3 not more than 5 years but they're still more enjoyable than 4?
Don't get me wrong, I still love Sims 4. It looks great, it works great (well sometimes if you don't have all the bugs...) But it seems like the only thing they really really care about is how the game looks.
Building is one of the few things I like doing in the Sims 4. I still think the game is CAS focused because that tends to be the focus with Sims trailers and some Game changer videos is putting on a fashion show. But yes gameplay is the weakest part of the game and packs. There is enough clutter to sink a battleship but what about Sims being able to actually do active things?
