I used to do the same. But after all the worlds from all the packs and being a rotational player...if I had to create every single family for houses I'd go mad. ? So I learned to embrace the premades and give them proper makeovers. LoL. I do not have any hideous maxis houses in my worlds though. No compromises on that one. Their homes are ugly!
