What is causing this?

I haven't bought HSY, and is not at the present sure if I ever will (not with the amount of problems people are having), yet when my teen is supposed to go to school I get a message about joining her:

Obviously I can't, and it throws LEs right and left. I am assuming this is mod-caused and not patch-caused, but I cannot for the life of me figure out which mod that could cause an error like that. I have updated all mods since the patch, and removed those who weren't cleared or updated. I have also repaired the game. Anyone else encountered this?

    That is a weird issue.

    While the obvious thing to do is to send alone, I do wonder what would happen when you join her.

    Save the game before the message appears, then join her. I think you'll go to the map screen and loading a household/lot will crash the game (just like Seasons' "mysterious lot glitch" when planning a social event).

    Run the game without mods to make sure. Some mods needed to be updated again. If you haven't figured the issue out yet, you may need to do the 50/50 method. Test mods in batches remembering to clear cache each time.

    (A bit off topic, sorry)

    In High school living, is it the same as get to work where even if you have more than one Sim in the household for the same "job", you can only "join" one at the site? Rather than, lets say, 3 teens in the household, can you have all 3 go as a group to the highschool?

    No, it's not like Get to Work in that way, you can go with all the teens in your household.

    I located the error to one of Zerbu's mods. I only have two of his - the all worlds are residential and venue changes. I haven't bothered to tested one without the other, so I have just removed both.

    No, it's not like Get to Work in that way, you can go with all the teens in your household.

    I'd say it's caused by a mod, but I don't have HSY or a mod dealing with schools, so I wouldn't know. I think the icon is an old one that is shared, could easily be used by a modder.
