- @Cupid listen, Cupid. Those people who run around flaunting their wealth, most of them I've run into have a snobby attitude towards others. Sure, it makes them happy, but they're rubbing it in people's faces. They're solely buying it because it's expensive, and they can afford it, yet others can't. And they KNOW others can't. These people, I've got a bunch of them running about in this little town I'm living in. They sport Adidas because they think it makes them "above" everyone else. Same with others who love being "above" everyone else. Sure, they're happy, but it's nothing I tolerate.
- Now if you're not shoving it in people's faces or thinking you're brilliant because you've got all this cash, it's fine by me.

I'm personally annoyed by how the name is pronounced in english :D
I always pronounce it the russian way.
It's an Italian name. So it should be pronounced like it does in Italy. - SmellincoffeeNew AdventurerOhhh...The Sims 2 did this for H&M, and Sims 3 did it for Diesel stuff, I guess. It should be a bad sign to EA that so many people are saying "...what's moschino?", but maybe increasing name recognition is the point. I would have never heard of H&M or Diesel without The Sims...but I never think of them outside that context, so it's not that much of a win.

You've never been to an H&M store? Wow. "nightowl1;c-17099180" wrote:

I guess I think a bit differently. I never really assume that anybody is wearing something just to make everyone else jealous? I mean I'm sure there are people who do that, but people do that with a lot of things apart from their clothes. They do it with their houses, their furniture, their cars, their lifestyles, etc. I don't really see why it suddenly becomes unacceptable in regards to clothing. And if the reason I'm supposed to disagree with the pack is because it enables some type of egocentric lifestyle.. eh. There are a lot of things in the game already which could potentially do the same (and who's to say I couldn't find a sim who would suit that kind of thing, anyway?)- I have one golden rule and if poeple actually started listening its simple, A group does not control you what you wear does not define you, only the actions you do and take effect how others see you. Define yourself above the groups and all they groups will respect you, and you as a individual are more unique than any group, outfit or the inaction of others.

Or maybe the Spanish term for the ideal or character of manliness.
