As someone whose playstyle would register as "Dream Dollhouse" to the more simulation and/or time management focused players, I'm not happy either. Lack of customisation is a huge problem. For example why enforce a mean sim and one member per premade afterschool activity? What if I want to run a sports school or a monastery? The former probably won't have a chess club, and the second one might not admit mean sims. I'm currently setting up a school boat for my fishing & canned fish company's apprentices. It's working, it is immersive, and it doesn't need HSY with its arbitrary restrictions.
