Absolutely nothing. I have only one save that I've been playing for six years and I try to incorporate a variety of gameplay in that save.
When playing I save frequently and make a weekly backup of my TS4 folder just in case I do run into problems.
As for For Rent I just haven't had time to get to that gameplay yet because I have several other ongoing stories. I will get to it eventually.
Great to hear that! I also believe that there are possible ways to play with a variety of gameplay and features adding overtime.
Plus from what I saw in your posts earlier, I admire you that you can create ongoing series without worry things I like me. I haven’t played big family yet because don’t sure if I manage them. Your opinion encourage me to try playing with lower control style during waiting time too. (except bodyshape control, I can’t play without it anyway lol)
About backup, I’m the player who use a few minor mods, so I sometimes worry about hidden problems. I usually back up the save file every day, but for TS4 folder I do only for big patch. I’ll try to do it more frequently for safety too.
By the way, did you have the mods to manage the gameplay? Or your save file is mod-free or only cc without gameplay mod. (not count pose players)
coloncoconI do play with some mods and CC. My largest mod is UI Cheats then I have several mods to stop small annoyances like infant care, horse competition cool down, event notifications ( I like to be notified when they're all starting) and Bienchen's nap overhaul.
My CC is mostly female clothing for all ages, (love cute dresses! 😍) sneakers, and some furniture and decor items. No hairs, eyes, skins, or other genetic CC. I love my sims with the game provided assets only.
Makes it easy come patch time because I only have to update UI Cheats. And Weerbesu is pretty fast with that.
simgirl1010Thank you for the answer. Now I understand why you don’t worry much. UI Cheats is the safe mod that doesn’t change something in the game without our command. Even safer than MCCC that is also fast-update but need to check about settings carefully. (Ex. Auto-moving in, MC pregnancy)
Bienchen’s mods aren’t script mods (from what I remembered what she said), it’s safe as well. I have a lot of her mods.
Beside of that, I don’t have big mods except MCCC. Most are for alter minor details and avoid annoying mechanics. I don’t use something like cc career or mods that risk to damage the safe when I remove them later.
My CC choice is like you too but mostly for men instead. I love TS4 style enough. I found many beautiful maxis-matched female clothings from this forum’s screenshots and social networks. I might try some soon!
