Sadly the sims has long lost any kind of dark edge that it used to have.
I loved how outright creepy sims 1 could be at times, and that it actually had alcohol, not some lame juice.
They seriously need to release an ultimate sims 1 edition on origin with all expansions included. I lost half of my own expansions and it's a hassle to install it with all those discs too.
I remember being genuinely scared of the Makin' Magic loading screen as a kid. It was partly because of the music I think. But the creepiness was so good..
