I think this thread comes down to 2 sides:
One person- I want this gameplay.
Another person- No, I want this gameplay, and that gameplay you like isn't really gameplay.
I think this thread is all relative based on whether you think the gameplay that they are giving you in this pack is worth it, which seems to be different from person to person. I personally think the thermostat and calendar are great additions, and they're seems to be a lot of other fun things in this pack, such as the gardening career, scouting, skating, rollerblading, holidays, umbrellas, etc. Not sure what gameplay is supposedly "missing."
