That sounds similar to the checklists in the events we already have, at least that's what it made me think of.
You're probably right, but that also means we can disable them just like we can with regular parties. They also told us we can choose the traditions, so that's the feature I was speaking of.
The way they described the traditions make it sound like the amok noting goals from normal parties.
"have everyone in a hamster costume"
With all of the hints we've seen, I'm pretty confident that it will be much more detailed than that. However, I understand that anyone who's not excited for the pack will be skeptical.
