I think Strangerville is the one that most pleasantly surprised me. I wasn't that interested in buying it, but I was a bit attracted by its build and buy. Then I got it from a code drop and after some preparations started to play the story with two teen boys from my already existing sim families. I played it sooo intensively for a couple of days! I mean I wouldn't have wanted to go to bed, because I wanted to find out what happens next to my precious boys who had to juggle between going to school and slowly solving the mystery :joy: I have been preparing to play the story again and today I started it again. I'm excited :) The neighbourhood is so pretty too!
Another nice surprise was Luxury party. I had said I wouldn't get the pack because there were only a couple of pretty dresses in it, but then after carefully watching videos of the stuff packs that I still didn't have I ended up choosing this one for a bundle. I have been pleased with my choice. I really like the clothes in this pack (the dresses are lovely!) and I have used them quite a lot, the make up is nice and I have put the food serving items in a couple of lots (I still haven't used them, but I think they will be useful).
Realm of Magic has been a somewhat disappointment for me. In general I like the pack and I play spellcasters, but I wish the spellcaster perks were more interesting and there was more to do in the magic realm. I also kind of wish there was an easier way to choose which spells your spellcaster learns and how they learn them. I'd like my spellcasters to learn a couple of particular spells that I choose them to have, but now the learning is a bit random unless I hunt down the tomes which I have been doing lately.
