Maybe the two Islander Sims are Mermaids and the pixelated Sim is a new occult from Realm of Magic. Maybe Mermaids have a natural rivalry with/fear of whatever occult the new Sim is.

Great point! I think it’s a werewolf. It makes sense, and werewolves don’t mean furry monster. He might just be a hairy guy? The likelihood of it being a werewolf is high. If not that, then it’s Moschino Swim trunks and it makes sense they are scared.

It might indeed have to do with Realm of Magic.

Then why not just say 'Realm of Magic', since they've already announced it, and even if they said that's what it is, we still wouldn't know what the blurred Sim is doing.

Just notice the plumbob is pixelated as well. This has to be an occult sim unless it’s a set up. I think it’s a werewolf with ripped up clothing. Werewolves would be a perfect opportunity to introduce body hair, and a important occult, along with diversity in the realm rather than just witches.

Occult plumbobs in TS4 are indicators of the occult. Aliens get a tech thing around theirs, vampires have bats, mermaids have waves.

I'm not sure I'm sold that it's a werewolf, doesn't look like one to me, just a sim with a beard. But I do think an occult is a likely guess because of the blurred plumbob!
