In TS3 you could park your car in your inventory, much like the bikes in TS4, so not sure why they couldn't do the same with cars in TS4. Though I would prefer that they enter and leave the car while outside and not inside buildings like they do with the bikes.
The trouble with inventory cars is that they used to multiply if you played rotational games.
