Canning and cross-stitch and the pre-patch addition of group cooking and gardening are what I look forward to the most. I even recently got my old RL cross stitch project that has been ignored for a few years and started up again after watching the trailers.
I am also excited about the aesthetic of both the world and the CAS/BB items.
I will use the animals but I was never super into getting a farming pack so they don't excite me as much. I like the fact that they included friendly wildlife in addition to farm animals and I look forward to seeing how that works.
That said, it IS going to be buggy so I'm going to stick with the plan of putting it on my Christmas wish list and hope the worst bugs are patched by then. That's what I should have done with EL instead of buying at the first sale, and I'm trying to learn from my mistakes.
